At Stasis Science, we work hard to get your SubZero out the door quickly and delivered safely. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how we process and ship orders.

All Stasis Science products are manufactured and shipped from our facilities in the United States.
Where We Ship To
We currently ship to:

United States (all 50 states)

International destinations (select countries)
If your country is not available at checkout, we cannot ship to that location at this time. We're working to expand our international shipping options.
Processing & Fulfillment Time
Fulfillment Process

Processing Time: 1-3 business days for picking, packing, and fulfillment

Quality Control: Each unit is inspected before shipment

Tracking Notification: You'll receive tracking information via email once your order ships
Processing Schedule:

Orders placed Monday-Friday are processed in the order received

Orders placed after 2:00 PM PST may not process until the next business day

Weekend and holiday orders begin processing the next business day

No processing on major U.S. holidays
What "Business Days" Means
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Weekends and holidays don't count toward processing or delivery estimates.

Important for International Customers:

Customs processing times vary by country and are outside our control

Some countries have restrictions on electronics or consumer goods imports - you are responsible for knowing your country's regulations

We cannot refund orders confiscated or rejected by customs
Shipping Costs
Flat-Rate Shipping
We keep shipping simple with a flat rate for all orders:

$4.99 shipping on all orders, to all countries

Free shipping on orders of 2 or more SubZero units (domestic and international)
No weight calculations, no destination surcharges — what you see at checkout is what you pay.
Non-Refundable Shipping
All shipping charges (original outbound and return shipping) are non-refundable even if you return your order. This applies to both standard and expedited shipping.
If you refuse delivery or request package intercept, you're responsible for all shipping costs incurred.
Delivery & Tracking
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you'll receive:

Email confirmation with tracking number

Link to track your package with the carrier

Estimated delivery date (subject to carrier performance)
Track your package regularly - you're responsible for monitoring delivery status.
Delivery Confirmation
Carrier tracking showing "Delivered" constitutes conclusive proof that your order was delivered to the address you provided.
Many carriers now provide:

Photo confirmation of package at delivery location

GPS coordinates of delivery
-
Timestamp of delivery
These records serve as verification of successful delivery.
Delivery Location
Packages are delivered to the address you provided at checkout. Carriers typically:

Deliver to your door, porch, or building entrance

May leave packages in mailrooms or with building staff (apartments/offices)

Follow delivery instructions you provide to the carrier (if any)
You are responsible for:

Providing a complete, accurate delivery address

Ensuring someone is available to receive the package, or that the location is secure

Monitoring tracking to know when delivery is expected

Retrieving packages promptly after delivery
Address Requirements & Changes
Accurate Address Information
You must provide a complete, accurate shipping address including:

Full name of recipient

Street address (we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes for most carriers)

Apartment, suite, or unit number (if applicable)
-
City, State, ZIP code
-
Phone number (for carrier contact if needed)
Incomplete or incorrect addresses may result in delivery delays, return to sender, or lost packages.
Address Changes
Before Shipment:

Contact support@stasisscience.com immediately if you need to change your address

We'll update the address if your order hasn't entered production yet
-
Once in production or shipped, addresses cannot be changed
After Shipment:

Address changes are not possible once the carrier has the package
-
Contact the carrier directly to request delivery intercept or redirect (additional fees apply)

We cannot guarantee successful address changes after shipment
Address Errors
If your package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address you provided:

You'll be notified of the return

We can reship to a corrected address
-
You're responsible for return shipping cost + new outbound shipping cost

A $15 reshipment processing fee applies
If the package is lost due to address error, we are not responsible for replacement.
Delivery Issues
Package Not Received
If tracking shows "Delivered" but you don't have your package:

Check thoroughly:

All entrances to your home/building
-
With neighbors who may have accepted it
-
Mailroom or building management (apartments/offices)

Other household members who may have brought it inside
-
Secure locations where carriers sometimes leave packages

Check carrier photo (if available):

Most carriers now photograph packages at delivery

This helps you identify where it was left
-
Wait 24 hours:

Sometimes packages are marked delivered slightly before actual delivery

Carrier may be running behind schedule
-
Contact us within 48 hours:

Explain the situation

We'll investigate with the carrier
Important Limitations:

Claims of non-delivery must be submitted within 48 hours of tracking showing "Delivered"

Once tracking confirms delivery, the package is legally deemed received

We are not responsible for packages stolen after delivery

We can investigate one non-delivery claim per customer
Suspected Theft After Delivery
If you believe your package was stolen after the carrier delivered it:

File a police report with your local police department

Copy of the police report or report number

Tracking information showing delivery
We'll review theft claims on a case-by-case basis and may offer a one-time courtesy replacement at our discretion. However, we are not legally responsible for theft after delivery confirmation.
Prevention Tips:

Ship to a secure location (workplace, trusted neighbor, package locker)

Require signature delivery (additional fees apply - contact us for options)

Use Amazon Hub Locker, UPS Access Point, or FedEx Hold for Pickup if available in your area

Install security cameras or video doorbell

Arrange to be home when delivery is expected
Damaged Packages
If your package arrives visibly damaged:

Take photos of the box and any damage before opening

Open carefully and photograph any product damage

We'll send a replacement or issue a refund at our discretion after reviewing your claim.
We are NOT responsible for:

Damage from improper storage after delivery

Damage from extreme temperatures if package was left unattended

Damage that occurs after delivery confirmation
Lost or Delayed Packages
Delays:

Carrier delays are outside our control (weather, mechanical issues, staffing, high volume periods)

We are not responsible for carrier delays

Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number for delay information
Lost Packages (tracking shows no movement for 10+ days):

We'll open a trace investigation with the carrier

If confirmed lost, we'll send a replacement or issue a refund
Peak Season Delays: During holidays, promotional periods, and peak shopping seasons (November-December):

Fulfillment times may extend by 2-4 business days

Carrier transit times may be slower than estimates

We'll communicate known delays proactively
International Shipping Details
Customs & Import Regulations
You are responsible for:

Understanding your country's regulations on electronics and consumer goods imports

Providing accurate customs information if requested

Paying all customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and other fees

Complying with import value limits and quantity restrictions
We are NOT responsible for:

Packages confiscated or rejected by your country's customs agency

Delays in customs clearance

Additional fees imposed by your country

Products prohibited in your country
If your package is returned due to customs rejection or you refuse to pay customs fees, shipping costs are non-refundable and the order will be refunded minus all shipping expenses.
International Tracking
International tracking may have limited updates once the package leaves the United States. This is normal. Updates typically resume once the package enters your country's postal system.
International Returns
International return shipping is expensive (often $50+) and is your responsibility. See our Return and Refund Policy for complete details on international returns.
Special Circumstances
Refused Deliveries
If you refuse delivery of your package:

You're responsible for original shipping + return shipping costs

A 15% restocking fee applies (see Return and Refund Policy)

Refund (if applicable) will be minus all shipping costs and restocking fee
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned as undeliverable due to:

Multiple failed delivery attempts (no one available)

Incorrect address you provided

Refused by recipient

Building/address restrictions we weren't informed of
You may request reshipment:

You pay return shipping cost + new outbound shipping cost

$15 reshipment processing fee applies

Must provide corrected/verified address
Military Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO)
We ship to military addresses using USPS. Please note:

Processing and delivery times may be longer

Tracking updates may be limited

Additional delays are possible due to military routing
P.O. Boxes
Most carriers do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you provide a P.O. Box:

Order may be delayed while we contact you for a physical address

Package may be returned to us

You're responsible for reshipment costs to a valid address
Always provide a physical street address when possible.
Order Cancellation & Modification
Before Fulfillment
If your order hasn't entered fulfillment yet (within a few hours of ordering), contact support@stasisscience.com immediately to request cancellation or modification.
We'll do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee cancellation once fulfillment begins.
After Fulfillment Begins
Once your order is being processed:

Orders cannot be canceled

Products cannot be changed

Address can only be changed if not yet shipped
Subscription Orders
For subscription orders:

Modify or skip: Contact us at least 3 business days before next scheduled shipment

Cancel: Contact us at least 3 business days before next scheduled shipment

After processing: Once a subscription shipment enters production, it cannot be canceled
Subscription shipment dates are shown in your account and in reminder emails.
Force Majeure & Limitations of Liability
We are not responsible for delays, failures, or damages caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

Natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, wildfires)

Pandemics or public health emergencies

War, terrorism, or civil unrest

Labor disputes or strikes

Carrier service disruptions

Government actions or regulations

Supplier or manufacturer issues

Technical failures or cyber attacks

Severe weather events
During such events, processing and delivery times may be significantly extended. We'll communicate known major disruptions when possible.
Multiple Orders & Shipment Consolidation
Each order ships separately. We do not combine multiple orders into one shipment, even if placed on the same day.
If you want all items in one shipment, place them in a single order.
Signature Requirements
Standard shipments do not require signature upon delivery. Carriers will leave packages at the delivery address.
If you want signature-required delivery:

Not available for all locations
Signature delivery helps prevent theft but may cause delays if no one is available to sign.

We may update this Shipping Policy periodically. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
For orders placed before a policy change, the policy in effect at time of order will govern that shipment.
